[The Artifact]

very bizarre

I like the backgrounds a lot in this work, and for a first animation the drawing wasn't that bad. At least it wasn't stick men. The actual story/plot was to me incomprehensible. I'm giving you the benifit of the doubt and will say that was your aim.

From a style point of view I think a couple of film scratches would have really set this off, but you can't have everything, eh? Good work; you'll only improve as time goes by.

Good for your first Flash

Pretty well done for a first go, but the file size is massive. Do you have the ability to compress your audio, as that could be a problem in future (I'm assuming that's the reason but it may not be)?

yeah, when i tried to load it first time it took so long that I thought it wasn't going to load at all. I think you're right that it's the audio, a couple of other folks have said as much.

Zero is so understated

It's a shame he isn't really that hard. Because it is a sprite animation it'll probably get quite a low score, but I quite liked it.

Good concept

What a pretty animation. There's not enough simple stuff on this site that is not either violent, humorous are just plain rubbish (the ones that slipped through the net). Could be animated a little better but that takes practice. It's a shame if this one is blammed because it is not one of the above reasons.

Cut 'n' paste from fir5000 again. Be original.

Refreshing to see some claymation

Claymation is more difficult to do in my opinion than a Flash animation, in particular to get it to look good. Keep it up and keep practicing with the clay; you'll only get better over time.
